I triggered a lot of people in Washington by putting out a plan to rescue America from the radical woke Democrats who are trying to destroy this country. I believe that we won’t stop the woke socialist crowd and turn this country around without a plan. And I believe that the public deserves to know what Republicans will do when given the chance to govern.
Democrats, predictably, lost their minds.
Democratic National Committee Chairman Jaime Harrison called it a “fascist manifesto.” The White House has spent more time lying about my plan than they have trying to address inflation. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s PAC called it “cruel and backwards.” MSNBC’s Joy-Ann Reid said I envy the Taliban (?!), and the Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin called it a “frightful expression of white grievance.”
I guess I hit a nerve. If I have the liberal politicians who are ruining this country and the out-of-touch, liberal, Beltway chattering class attacking me, I’m doing something right.
So let’s take a look at my plan, which the Democratic Party has dubbed a “fascist manifesto.”
I believe our children should say the Pledge of Allegiance, respect the flag, learn that America is a great country, and choose the school that best fits them. How fascist of me.
My plan says government will never again ask people to disclose their race, ethnicity, or skin color on any government form. We need to end the Democrats’ racial politics that seek to divide rather than unite us. I guess this is what the woke Left calls an “expression of white grievance.” Everyone else calls it common sense.
My plan calls for funding, not defunding, the police because law enforcement are the good guys, and the criminals are the bad guys. We need to enforce our laws and fire prosecutors that refuse to do their jobs. It appears from the State of the Union address that even President Joe Biden’s pollsters have figured this out.
We need to secure the border — period. Nations have borders, and it’s time to secure ours once and for all.
My plan calls for growing America’s economy, starving Washington’s economy, and stopping socialism. We need to shrink the federal government and pay down our national debt. Refusing to do so is an abdication of our moral responsibility to future generations.
This one won’t make me very popular in Washington. We need to eliminate all federal programs that can be done locally and enact term limits. But not just for elected officials — we need term limits for federal bureaucrats as well. The permanent ruling class in Washington is bankrupting us with inflation and debt, so they must be removed. For you, the people, to have more, Washington must have less.
My plan calls for protecting the integrity of our democracy and stopping left-wing efforts to rig elections.
The Democrats don’t believe they can win based on their ideas, so they want to game the system and legalize voter fraud to stay in power. My goal is 100% participation and 0% fraud — that means voter ID, no ballot harvesting, timely ballot counting, and no drop boxes.
My plan calls for protecting, defending, and promoting the traditional family, which the fanatical Left seeks to devalue and redefine by undermining parents and attempting to replace them with government programs, at all costs. We will not allow socialism to place the needs of the state ahead of the family.
Here’s a controversial one: Men are men, women are women, and unborn babies are babies. We believe in science. Enough said.
My plan says people should be free to welcome God into all aspects of their lives. The Democratic Party and its Big Tech allies are not merely secular — they have virtually created a new religion of wokeness that is increasingly hostile toward people of faith. They are determined to drive any mention of God out of public view. We will not be silenced, canceled, or told what words to use by the politically correct crowd.
And the last point of my plan that the Democrats have dubbed a “fascist manifesto”? We are Americans. We should put America first. That this is a controversial statement shows just how out of touch today’s Democratic Party is from reality and the views of the people.
The Democratic Party has made its opposition to my Rescue America plan known. They oppose my plan, which promotes American exceptionalism, the traditional family and patriotism, U.S. energy, decouples from Communist China, makes our tax system fairer to the working class who are paying an increasing share of the tax burden, reins in government spending, ends racial politics, increases funding for law enforcement, and requires an ID to cast a ballot, among many other things.
I’m happy to have this fight, and I believe the people are with me. Know this for certain: Any time a Republican steps up and offers solutions, Schumer and the Democrats will pervert and twist their words into false attacks — anytime and every time. To live in fear of, or parrot, these false attacks is a demonstration of terrible weakness. This is a time for strength.
