From ‘trust all women’ to ‘what is a woman’

.

In recent years, women have been at the center of controversy surrounding Supreme Court justice nominee hearings. First, there were the confirmation hearings of Brett Kavanaugh, whose character was assassinated over frivolous claims of something he allegedly did 40 years earlier as a teenager. Then, in 2020, there was the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett. She was troublesome because of her Catholic beliefs — and the fact she was the thing that Jackson could not define. Last but not least, this past week had Ketanji Brown Jackson, a Harvard-educated federal judge, unable to define what a woman was. It’s a sad reflection of the twisted social values of the country. We have gone from “trust all women” to “what is a woman?”

This regression is symptomatic of the effects that toxic Democratic politics have had on culture. It’s predicated on creating a sense of perpetual victimhood of alleged marginalized groups. In 2018, the victims were women, and in 2021, the “victims” are transgender people. There is no rhyme or reason to any of this. Democrats have used the same tactics for decades. The only thing that changes is the group of people claiming victimhood. They masterfully manipulate the masses to appear as the protectors of specific groups of people when, in reality, they are just using them.

The escapades of the last week are an example of how women are used as political pawns by Democrats in pursuing their political agenda. Two years ago, Democrats mobilized women to create resistance to Kavanaugh’s nomination. This past week, Democrats didn’t know what a woman was. When Democrats needed women to pursue political power, they were placed on a pedestal. Now that they do not have a use for them, the political importance of protecting women was cast away like an unwanted toy.

Jackson refused to define what a woman was because she was pandering to the woke transgender mob. It’s the latest indictment of the enormous grip Democrats and their leftist accomplices have on the sociocultural element of the country. However, it also shows that the only group Democrats genuinely care about is the one that can help them benefit the most politically. As we saw this past week, once the Democrats’ use for you is gone, so is your definitive place in society.
