Here’s how to tell if you’re a woman

.

It’s hard to believe that we live in an era in which a Supreme Court nominee had to pretend at her confirmation hearing that she was unable to define what a woman is.

It’s even more shocking given that Ketanji Brown Jackson rationalized this by declaring she was “not a biologist,” as if that mattered. But, given Jackson’s difficulty in this matter, I have volunteered to help her out. I have conducted extensive research on the topic and come up with a definitive answer. Ultimately, it’s quite simple: A woman is “an adult human female.”

The research was highly comprehensive and included some of the wisest minds ever to grace this planet, including philosophers, authors, government officials, and my sister. While it ultimately did not make the final cut, her definition should be considered a close second: “Women are the people who run the world, just like Beyonce said.”

Women can also be defined as “a necessity of human life.” As discussed in Genesis 2:18, a woman’s absence is the first thing that God declared to be “not good” in all of creation.

Another potential answer is that a woman is “a person who gets something done.” This definition comes from former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. “If you want something said, ask a man,” she famously said. “If you want something done, ask a woman.”

However, these are all theoretical ways to identify women and are not concrete. “Adult human female” is the best way to define a woman. Detractors don’t like this definition because it rejects the idea that “gender identity” can define a woman regardless of physical and biological reality. But it is no less true.

For example, consider the traits of the human female. Human females of the right age are, barring certain medical conditions, capable of bearing children. The ability to bear children is predicated on the ability of women to produce eggs naturally for fertilization, another distinct characteristic of women. No man will ever be able to get pregnant. Women also have two X chromosomes, whereas men only have one. Additionally, only women naturally have breasts, menstruation cycles, and ovaries. There are also vast differences in bone sizes and skeletal muscles. There is nothing wrong, questionable, or controversial about these statements.

Jackson is a sophisticated, accomplished, and intelligent woman. She knows all of these things already. She did not say them because she did not want to anger those in the Democratic Party advancing anti-science and anti-human transgender philosophies. There are differences between men and women, no matter how badly those supporting fringe gender ideologies want to pretend there aren’t.

A nominee for the Supreme Court should have enough integrity and character to acknowledge the obvious, even when it’s unpopular.
