Hillary Clinton parties with fellow millionaires while the masked plebes attend to her gown

After an unprecedented delay due to the pandemic, the Met Gala returned to its usual day of the first Monday of May. Along with the fundraiser for the Costume Institute at the taxpayer-funded museum, was yet another failed presidential candidate in attendance. Hillary Clinton, the twice-failed presidential candidate and wife of accused rapist Bill Clinton, attended Anna Wintour’s infamous pageant for the first time since 2001, donning a Joseph Altuzarra gown embroidered with the names of such prominent women as Madeleine Albright, Harriet Tubman, Abigail Adams, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Clara Barton.

Albright, a close friend of Hillary Clinton’s and the secretary of state under her husband’s presidency, famously once said, “There is a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.”

Hillary Clinton, the only first lady known to have referred to her husband’s intern-cum-mistress as a “narcissistic loony toon,” famously stood by her husband, not only after his serial adultery and multiple accusations of sexual harassment but also after he was credibly accused of rape by Juanita Broaddrick.

The only other politician to attend the annual celebration after losing a presidential election was Mitt Romney, mere months before Utah elected him its junior senator. Donald and Melania Trump attended the gala from 2004 through 2014. Just as Wintour snubbed Melania Trump from the cover of Vogue only after her husband beat Hillary Clinton in 2016, the Trumps likely won’t return to the gala. To date, he remains the only president ever to attend.

The museum normally mandates that all guests older than 2, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks. The celebrities attending the gala, Hillary Clinton included, were exempted from the mandate, but the help tending to their gowns remained masked.
